Badminton Place would like to nominate Helen Baker as our care champion this week. Helen is part of the care team and is very much loved by all the Badminton team and Residents. She is truly exceptional with all the residents and provides exemplary care and support.
Helen is an extremely kind and considerate person and listens to all our resident's needs with empathy and compassion.
She is very confident and takes each task at hand, and she uses her own initiative throughout the day.
Helen is always smiling and has a very BIG heart, and she always brings a warm glow of positivity around the home.
We have an outstanding care team, and we are fortunate to have Helen as part of the team.

Badminton Place would like to nominate Kelly Carhart as our care champion this week. She has been here at Badminton Place from day one and coped brilliantly with all the extra tasks asked of her. Kelly is a key member of our reception team and is an outstanding front of house specialist, she is hands on to all reception duties, has an organised and methodical nature with all tasks. Kelly always provides a warm welcome to every guest and provides first-class customer service.
Kelly is our oracle at Badminton Place and is the font of all knowledge, if any team members have a question or query, they all ask, email, or ring her on reception, and she deals with each request calmly and professionally. The reception is well organised, presentable, and tidy always which is a testament to Kelly. She is excellent with all our residents and is very kind and supportive. She provides stellar service to the resident’s families when they visit or contact us.
Kelly is very hardworking and committed and does a lot of work and tasks that go unnoticed throughout each day. She never moans about how busy she is or tells the team how much she must do and just gets on with it like a silent assassin! Her commitment and attitude are inspirational to all team members. Kelly is a constant support to the General Manager, Deputy Manager, Customer Relations, and the administrator.
Kelly is a fantastic member of the Badminton Team and a well-deserved care champion.

One little duck, Cup of Tea, Knock at the door...BINGO!! a really enjoyable game of bingo this afternoon. Margaret won and was thrilled with the HUGE winners trophy.
Badminton Place would like to nominate Eriel Matorez as our care champion this week. He is a fantastic member of the Badminton Team and a well-deserved care champion. Eriel is a big part of the nursing team here and is loved by all departments. Eriel is a great nurse with outstanding communication skills. He solves any issues with calm and effective communication with residents and families. Eriel has all the characteristics that are required for a good nurse, he is a person that radiates kindness, fairness, he is caring and shows empathy and compassion. Eriel is flexible and adapts to changing scenarios and situations that arise during the day or night. He is an effective team player that works fluidly with patients, families, and healthcare teams every step of the way.
Eriel is a joy to be around as he is always positive and supportive of the whole team. He is a role model for all the nurses with his attitude and qualities as a nurse. Every care home needs a nurse like Eriel due to the wonderful energy he brings with everything he does every day.

Sue is a big part of the housekeeping team and is loved by all departments. She always has a professional appearance and excellent attitude with the team and our residents, she is very happy to assist others and is always accurate and persistent with any task. Sue is attentive and details oriented and can pay attention to the smallest of details. She is flexible and adaptable with the workload of the department and the home.
Sue solves any issues with calm and effective manner with residents and families. She has all the characteristics that are required for a good housekeeper, she is a kind and considerate person and shows great empathy and compassion. Sue is flexible and adapts to changing scenarios and situations that arise during the day.
Sue is a joy to be around as she is always positive and supportive of the whole team. She is a role model for all the housekeeping team. Keep smiling and bring your positive outlook each day as every care home needs a Sue!
