At Badminton Place, our aim is to provide the best residential dementia care in Bristol. Our new build, luxury, state of the art complex was specially designed to accommodate those living with dementia, to ensure they can live purposeful and fulfilled lives.

Our caring and inclusive environment is a true reflection of our belief that people with dementia should be respected and cared for as individuals.

Each person’s dementia is as unique as they are, but common support could include help with eating, getting dressed, bathing and taking medication. The support we offer is developed around an individualised care plan, which combines techniques and interventions that aim to promote and maintain a resident's wellbeing, whilst also looking to decrease any anxiety or worry they may have.

We understand that moving into a care home can be a daunting and emotionally challenging task. We know how important it is to find care and support in a home where your loved ones will be looked after, feel safe, and supported.

How do we provide the best possible support for people with dementia at Badminton Place?

By having staff that are specifically trained in dementia care:

The professional development of staff is a priority for us, especially in dementia care. Staff members champion and share knowledge on dementia to ensure that they can offer the appropriate support. We aim to be the best dementia care provider in Bristol, and that means having staff who are both knowledgeable and up to date with the latest thinking regarding dementia.

By listening and empowering:

We take time to get to know the individual and the wider family. This is important to us, as each individual and family has a unique story to tell. From understanding the resident, we tailor our care to meet their individual needs, to empower them to live the life they want.

By being responsive to an individual's needs:

Badminton Place is a purpose-built and stimulating environment, where we offer variety in day to day living for your loved ones. We believe that caring for people is about placing individual needs front and centre, and not adopting a one size fits all approach.
